Why is Yuen Long cheaper than other New Territories districts?

The trip. Our trucks work out of the Tuen Mun / Yuen Long side, so Yuen Long is the shortest run at HK$1,300. Sheung Shui, Fanling, Tai Po and Sha Tin are a longer drive and sit in the HK$1,500 zone. Pricing is published by district, not sprung on you on arrival.

Can you reach Lok Ma Chau?

Lok Ma Chau is in the HK$1,300 zone. Note that part of Lok Ma Chau falls inside the Frontier Closed Area, where a vehicle needs a Closed Road Permit issued by the Border Closed Area Permit Office at Sheung Shui Police Station. If your house is inside the closed area, say so when booking so we can allow time to arrange it.

How often should it be pumped?

EPD guidance for village-house sewage asks for a septic tank inspection at least every 6 months, with sludge removed once it exceeds 30 cm. The real interval depends on how many people use it, water usage and tank size. If you already have odour, water coming back up when you flush, or seepage at floor level, do not wait.

Is Motion Waste licensed?

Yes. We are a Drainage Services Department registered contractor, No. P0038, and hold an EPD chemical waste collection and transport permit. The company has served Hong Kong since 1992.
