Village-house septic pumping around Sheung Shui, Fanling, Ta Kwu Ling, Sha Tau Kok and Lo Wu at HK$1,500 per visit. North District is a longer run than Tuen Mun / Yuen Long, so it sits in the second pricing zone. One thing here is unlike any other district: some villages fall inside the Frontier Closed Area, where a vacuum truck needs a Closed Road Permit, so it takes more notice to arrange.

Sha Tau Kok town and its rural area, Lo Wu, Man Kam To and parts of Ta Kwu Ling are inside the Frontier Closed Area; a vehicle needs a Closed Road Permit from the Border Closed Area Permit Office at Sheung Shui Police Station. Tell us when booking so we can allow time.

    This is the step that makes North District different. If the village is inside the closed area the truck needs a permit, so it is not a same-day decision.

    HK$1,500 base, adjusted for hose distance; neighbours in the same village can share the trip.

Purely the drive. Our trucks are based around Tuen Mun / Yuen Long, and North District is a longer run, so it sits in the second zone at HK$1,500, the same as Kowloon, Tsuen Wan, Tai Po and Sha Tin. It is published by district, not added on arrival.
Yes, but it needs notice. Sha Tau Kok town and its rural area, Lo Wu, Man Kam To and parts of Ta Kwu Ling sit inside the Frontier Closed Area, and a vehicle entering needs a Closed Road Permit. It is issued free by the Border Closed Area Permit Office at Sheung Shui Police Station, generally to people who live or work inside the closed area. So name the village and say it is in the closed area when you book, and do not count on same-day service.
EPD guidance for village-house sewage asks for an inspection at least every 6 months, with sludge removed once it passes 30 cm. The real interval depends on occupancy, water use and tank size. Odour, water backing up when you flush, or seepage at floor level all mean do not wait.
